HANDMADE BY SUE
Handmade By Sue was created because it was something that I was able to do, while living with Fibromyalgia and chronic pain. I wanted to LIVE and be worth something to my community, no matter what my doctors said at the time. I started making comfort packs to help ease some of the pain and bring some comfort. Although it’s a daily challenge, it is a rewarding one. The more that I can talk about my challenges and achievements, the more I hear from others on how they’re happy to know that they are not alone.
KIMBERLY BERNIER ART
After retiring from nursing due to illness, Kimberly Bernier set forth on a new journey and adventure in art. Completely self taught, she has tapped into a remarkable and unique talent. She specializes in pastel paintings and is a member of pastelartists.ca, and a handful of art societies in Ottawa and the surrounding area. Kimberly's artwork has been featured on the Rachael Ray Show on the CBS television network. She has painted pet portraits for numerous clients including Kortney Wilson's pug Donny, from HGTV's Masters of Flip. Kim has collaborated with Canadian musical artist, Jann Arden, in order to raise funds for The Alice Sanctuary. Kimberly has had the honour of winning numerous awards and has been published twice in the artandcolor365 magazine.
